League of Legends Season 2024 is just around the corner, and with it comes significant changes. One of the biggest changes concerns Baron Nashor in Summoner’s Rift.
He remains a neutral monster that acts independently on the game map and is not assigned to either of the two competing teams. But players must be prepared for three different form variants, each with unique attack patterns.
Baron Nashor in 3 different form variants 🐉
Baron Nashor will be even harder to take down in the future. He will appear in three different variants in the coming season. Similar to elemental dragons, Baron Nashor will have the ability to appear in several distinct forms.
Each variant changes the terrain around it and offers different challenges and attack styles. Each form variant will have distinct visual cues in the Baron pit, making them recognizable.
The Hunting Baron 🏹
The Hunting Baron retains the classic form. It uses powerful attacks, can deal area damage and can use its tentacles to attack nearby players. This attack throws players into the air and can trigger stun effects.

The Territorial Baron 🏰
The Territorial Baron is a new challenge. He uses his newly grown hands to draw enemies to him and secures his territory with a wall, which requires new strategic considerations.
The All-Seeing Baron 👁️
The All-Seeing Baron opens a rift in the Void that deals damage over time in the newly created tunnel. This adds another tactical dimension to the game.
More buffs for the team 🔥
Defeating Baron Nashor remains an important goal in the game. It offers the entire team significant advantages, such as increased attack and defense capabilities. Contrary to some assumptions, however, Baron Nashor will not change within a game. Similar to the different dragon types in the Dragon Pits, he appears in one of his three forms.
When he dies, he explodes, revealing a large area of vision and revealing enemy champions and wards. Upon defeating Baron Nashor, the resulting buffs are immediately granted to all surviving team members. So if the entire team is still alive, you get 5 red or 5 blue buffs. T
he buffs that can be captured remain the same for each Baron Nashor form variant – the gain therefore does not depend on the form of the Baron.

It will be exciting to see how players adapt to the new conditions in the game. Baron NAshor is very much about teamwork and strategy. Who will be the first to discover the best strategy to defeat the Baron?
