Starting January 13th, the LEC 2024 will see Tolkin in a new light: he’ll be the main streamer for the German broadcast. The now 25-year-old has already retired from his active playing career. At 22, he played League of Legends at a professional level, but he quit his pro career in 2020 to work as a caster for LoL at Summoner’s Inn. After a brief stint returning to play, he shifted to commentating on the World Championship on his own Twitch channel.

In 2023, the broadcasting rights for League of Legends competitions were exclusively held by Summoner’s Inn. However, Tolkin’s surprising viewership numbers on Twitch during the 2023 Worlds surpassed the official stream of his former company, earning him the rights to co-stream the 2024 LEC Winter Split talents on his own Twitch channel.
