The brand-new Fortnite Festival trailer, released just yesterday on YouTube, has rapidly spread among fans. In one day, the trailer has been viewed over 1.3 million times and liked around 114,000 times, showcasing the fans’ excitement for what they’ve seen.
Sleek Synth-Pop Aesthetics with Crystal-Clear Vocals
What they see in the trailer is frontman Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, the Canadian R&B singer who lends his distinctive voice to “The Weeknd”. The song’s typical synth-pop rhythm frames Tesfaye’s clear and expressive vocals.
The melody, with its palpably dynamic rhythm, is catchy and memorable. It’s no surprise that the trailer itself impresses with a high number of likes: the official song, since its release in 2022, has already been clicked 159 million times and liked 1.7 million times.
Multiple Songs to Be Featured
“Take my breath”, Tesfaye’s hit, won’t be the only one available to play after the release of the new mod “Fortnite Festival” on December 9th. Under the slogan “The Weekend That Never Ends,” at least three more songs will be added.
Starting this Saturday, Fortnite players can form bands with friends or perform solo on stage to the hit music of their favorite artists.
Harmonix from “Rock Band” Delivers Yet Again
Harmonix, the studio behind the Rock Band video game franchise, has pulled off this feat. Epic Games’ Fortnite is no stranger to musical forays, having spotlighted artists like Eminem, Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, Marshmello, and Kid Cudi.
The game’s mini-games, art, and music events at the digital Coachella festival are only expanding. The goal was to add a further music program, enhancing the existing one. Coachella will become an even more prominent digital venue in Fortnite, where new artists can debut.
New Gear, New Skins, and Loads of Musical Fun!
Rumors suggest that the “The Weeknd x Fortnite Festival” will include a new microphone design, two new bass designs, three new songs, a Keytar design, and a Weeknd skin. All of these will be available through the Festival Pass.
