    At the 2023 LCK Awards held on December 13 in the IVEX Studio, Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, the crème de la crème of esports were celebrated for their exceptional performances.

    The top honors included “Player of the Split,” “Most Valuable Player,” and the coveted “Player of the Year,” awarded to Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, a name synonymous with esports legend status.

    Player of the Split – Keria, Canyon, and Zeka 🌟

    The “Player of the Split,” recognizing the player with the most Player of the Game (POG) points in each season, was a highlight. Ryu “Keria” Min-seok from T1 dominated the Spring season with 13 POG points.

    The Summer season saw a tie between Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu, set to join Gen. G, and Kim “Zeka” Geon-woo from Hanwha Life Esports, each amassing 12 POG points.

    Most Valuable Players: Keria and Lehends

    The “Most Valuable Players” (MVPs) for the 2023 season, acknowledging players with the most significant impact and exceptional performances, were also announced. Keria from T1 and Son “Lehends” Si-woo from Gen. G shared this prestigious title, marking them as the most influential players of the regular season.

    Player of the Year – Faker’s Moment of Glory

    The apex of the ceremony was the “Player of the Year” award. Among the four nominees – Keria, Choi “Zeus” Woo-je from T1, Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon, and Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok – Faker emerged victorious.

    In 2023, he played a pivotal role in T1’s victory at the LOL Worlds 2023 in Seoul. Faker’s illustrious career includes four World Championship wins and over $1.2 million in prize money.

    Rookies and Coaches Also Recognized
