Laning against a Pyke that has control of the bushes can be a horrifying thing. One hook from him, and poof, you’re gonna expect a grey screen. Pyke excels so much at surprising enemies with his hail of blades attack speed and burst from his Q + E combo.

He is an assassin, but he is still a great support champion who can babysit most ADCs. He specializes in engaging enemies and threatening them all the time. The music that plays when he enters his invisible state just puts a bad vibe when you play as an ADC. With all that said, let us now take a look at the top 5 best ADCs for Pyke right now!

1. Draven

Pyke is a champion that doesn’t care about peeling you. He kills enemies fast enough, so they don’t kill you first. This is why Draven is an excellent duo for Pyke. They are both similar and don’t care about safe laning.

All they care about is how to get close to the enemy fast enough so they can immediately kill them. This duo has a solid early game, so much so that enemies choose to back away at the lane and only walk up if they have a supporting gank champion.

Pyke simply is an aggressive initiator that Draven profits from greatly. Pyke can hook enemy champions and burst them with his E and Hail of Blades proc. This alone could bring the enemy ADCs health bar down to half.

All Draven has to do at this point is to make sure he has 2 spinning axes and enough mana to spam his blood rush. Suppose Draven can’t follow up on this quick enough. In that case, he can just simply cast his ultimate to help Pyke deal damage. And he can bring the enemy down to Pyke’s ultimate execution threshold, and he can simply execute them. Pyke’s ult also kills procs Draven’s ult, so there’s that.

2. Miss Fortune

Champions who don’t need babysitting are the go-to champions when playing with a Pyke support. Miss Fortune excels very well because of her fast movement speed, long-range E slow, and excellent wave clearness.

With this duo, Pyke can go hyper-aggressive in the early game and establish lane dominance. When Pyke manages to start Miss Fortune’s snowball, he can leave and roam other lanes as Miss Fortune can pretty much play a weak lane and still win it.

Their ultimate combo also works really well with each other. Most of the time, enemies manage to get away from MF’s ultimate with just a sliver of health. Pyke can finish them off with his ultimate granting bonus gold for both champions. He can chase runaway champions with his E or W.

3. Sivir

Again, champions that don’t need peeling work really great with Pyke, and Sivir is one of those champions. She has excellent wave clear, which means enemy laners won’t be able to harass her under the tower. She also has self-peeling abilities that can get her out of a pinch.

She has a spell shield that restores mana and an ultimate that acts like Shurelya’s Blessing. She can also build lethality Items which means she can bring enemies down to half their HP with just her Q. Pyke can finish enemies damaged by Sivir with his full combo. He can be sped up by Sivir so he can chase running enemies better.

4. Caitlyn

Another champion with great wave clear and who can self-peel, but with Caitlyn, let us focus on what they can offer as a duo laner and not Pyke being a roamer. Pyke can Hook stun enemies with ease, and Caitlyn can lay down snares below the affected champion and provide burst so Pyke can finish them off.

They are such lane bullies that they will always bring enemy health bars down to a quarter, forcing them to stay for a risky CS or go home. If they choose to go home, choose the right moment to crash the wave to get the maximum value of the recall trade.

Also read: Best ADCs to Pair With Sona

5. Tristana

A champion who can deal burst damage works perfectly with Pyke. When enemies are quickly brought down to half of their HP, Pyke celebrates as he simply waits for another damage instance. He can easily cast his ult and gain a kill and a bonus gold, even for his teammates.

Tristana with Hail of Blades or PTA can do just that and what’s even satisfying is that Tristana can either rocket jump away from the enemy or push them away with her ult, so she is secured. The trade will be in Tris’s favor. If Tris manages to do this, Pyke can basically cleanup and last hit everyone with his skills.

Final Thoughts

Pyke is an excellent support champion, but he does not support champions in a way. He focuses on kills so enemies can’t kill his ADC. He is a very aggressive laner even in the early game so make sure to pick champions who can go all-in at earlier levels like the champions mentioned above. GLHF on your next game summoner, see you on the rift.

Twitch’s comeback in the bot lane was surprisingly popular in season 14. Despite his high win rate in the jungle, Twitch is an obnoxious carry from downtown too. His damage has never been higher than now and that’s all thanks to the item changes Riot brought us this year. So to say the least – Twitch is a solid ADC pick right now. And if you’re looking to climb the solo queue ladder with your Twitch partner, here are the top 7 best supports for you in season 14.

Keep in mind that we chose these champions based on performance, win rate, and overall synergy. This doesn’t mean that you can’t pair Twitch with other picks, but you’ll lose on some obvious benefits. Twitch is a type of marksman that doesn’t go particularly well with wombo-combo team compositions, since he doesn’t have a one-shot playstyle. Instead, he grows much stronger when multiple champions are there to protect him, so make sure you draft accordingly.

Let’s talk about the 7 best supports for Twitch in season 14 and why you should play them!

1. Lulu

Twitch and Lulu have always had a place in the bot lane meta thanks to their incredible synergy. Both champions are dependent on each other, but that’s exactly what makes them strong too. You can often see experienced duo partners smurfing on these two picks even in high elo.

For starters, the Lulu + Twitch lane should almost always be passive. Thanks to Lulu’s shields, Twitch can stay in the backline, safely farm, and prepare for the mid-game. Lulu can also poke opponents and chase them off before they even attack.

One of the most popular tricks that this combo can do is for Twitch to hide in invisibility and Lulu to walk alone into the enemy territory. This is often a good bait since Twitch can surprise the opponent and secure the kill. Spotting a squishy Lulu is usually an easy target for junglers or mid laners, but that’s exactly where Twitch can intervene and change the odds.

Once a team fight breaks, Lulu can amplify Twitch’s damage with her passive. The fae Pix does a considerable amount of damage, especially when Twitch is using his ultimate. Lulu’s R can be used defensively when the enemies retaliate, so Twitch can feel pretty safe in all possible scenarios.

2. Janna

Janna has a very similar style to Lulu, with a couple of differences here and there.

First off, Janna’s damage output is a bit lower than Lulu’s, so you should always think twice about starting a fight before your Twitch is fed. Obviously, Janna can do a fantastic job of protecting Twitch in the bot lane, but she shouldn’t rush to engage in skirmishes that shouldn’t happen at all.

Once the mid-game kicks in, this duo can unleash mayhem on Summoner’s Rift. Twitch’s invisibility is a real advantage that can create many opportunities. As mentioned above, Janna can roam freely to lure in enemies so Twitch can come out and spray them all to death.

Janna’s R is another tool that you have for saving Twitch from trouble. You can either use it to heal Twitch during a fight or push enemies away as they’re trying to reach him.

3. Yuumi

Twitch and Yuumi is probably the most fun combo that you can play in League of Legends. These two characters are a total blast and can int anyone on the opposing team.

The key synergy here is the fact that Twitch’s camouflage also puts Yuumi in invisibility if she’s attached to him. You can use this ability to become invisible as you’re coming to the lane and surprise your bot lane opponents. After level 6, when Yuumi unlocks her root, this combo is even deadlier since Twitch can freely attack the crowd-controlled targets.

During the laning phase, the cat and the rat should be particularly careful since Twitch doesn’t have any way of avoiding CC. He’ll always be the primary target of the enemy team, so it’s up to the Twitch player to be tactical. However, the Yuumi player can help by walking up to the enemy for auto-attacks and being overall offensive. She always has her W safe card, so she shouldn’t be afraid at all!

4. Braum

Twitch has plenty of ways to proc Braum’s passive stun. He can position to the opponent’s side with the stealth from his Q, he can W to have an AOE slow on the enemy as well, and when Twitch reaches 6 and has the extended range from his ultimate, it becomes child’s play. You may try to guess what happens to a champion that is stunned in front of an ulting Twitch.

As an added bonus, Braum has excellent peel and tankiness with his W, E, and R abilities to keep Twitch safe since the Plague Rat lacks any sort of viable escape tools to get away from danger.

5. Soraka

Twitch is good at trading, thanks to his passive and his E ability. He needs some time to stack it and cast his E on a fully stacked target, which opens him up to the enemy trading back. Soraka can help mitigate the health Twitch trades back thanks to her unparalleled sustain.

Thanks to her Q, she can sustain herself as well (provided she lands it, of course), and her E silence is excellent at stopping champions that need to cast their abilities to be impactful in fights, which are pretty much all champions except some ADCs.

6. Nami

Remember Twitch needed time to stack his passive? Nami makes this easy thanks to her E. This empowers Twitch’s basic attacks and applies a slow to the target, enabling him to catch up if they attempt to flee.

Nami’s Q is an excellent tool for both offense and defense, as it can catch and lock down an opponent for Twitch to stack his E, and she may also chain it with her ult when it is available.

7. Blitzcrank

Twitch and Blitz have a pretty nasty combo they can perform if the situation presents itself. Whenever Blitz does his trademark Q E combo, Twitch can Q for the attack speed steroid and W on the opponent to have them slowed for the duration, allowing him to stack for a sweet chunk of damage.

During teamfights, the disruption that Blitz can cause is fantastic for Twitch to be able to ult and hit multiple targets, giving his team an advantage. If Blitz stays nearby, he should fend off attackers with his Q and E to protect Twitch.

Those are the top 7 best supports for Twitch in LoL season 14!

Seraphine is usually referred to as Sona 2.0 as her abilities are quite similar to that of Sona’s. What’s more, Seraphine is a champion greatly influenced by music, which is also a major factor for Sona. She is a champion that can spam abilities fast and is very annoying to lane with.

She can be played very aggressively, which could really annoy every player laning against her. Imagine constantly anticipating her abilities and thinking about walking back or side-stepping, so you don’t get poked. Seraphine has an incredible early game poke, which can turn the favor of the early game towards her along with her duo.

Seraphine also has an amazing passive which lets her double-cast whenever she reaches a certain stack of her passive. This means she can cast a free spell every time she double casts. She can use her double cast on her Q to burst enemies down in the early game, her W to provide a shield, speed boost, and heal for her nearby allies.

Best of all, she can double-cast her E to slow and root them when they get hit with the second cast of the ability. Seraphine works great with ADCs who have some form of slow or CC with them as her E is empowered from slow to a stun when an enemy’s movement speed is impaired.

She also works great with ADCs that have AOE abilities that take out multiple enemies all at once. With that in mind, let us take a look at 5 of the best ADCs you can pair with Seraphine.

Also read: Best ADCs to Pair With Malphite

1. Ashe

Just like what I have mentioned above, Seraphine’s E is empowered whenever the enemy’s movement speed is impaired. The slow from Ashe’s arrows is considered an impairment to the enemy’s movement, so Seraphine doesn’t have to worry about having her double-cast up whenever she decides to root an enemy champion.

Ashe can simply walk up to that champion and hit them with her basic attack or her W.
This duo also has great early game poke damage as both of them can cast their skills at a long-range. They work great post level 6 as they can synergize their ults to maximize CC duration and have great engagement.

Either can cast their ultimates first to catch enemies off guard; when the CC ends, the other can stack up her ult to prolong the duration of the CC. Their ults also have an extremely long-range, which they can engage even if they are far away. With Sera having great spam abilities, they can both bring the enemy’s hp’s down before going on an all-in engage to secure a kill.

2. Draven

Of course, suppose you want to bring out the highest value of an aggressive support champion. In that case, you also need an aggressive ADC to the capital on early game kills. Seraphine excels at bringing enemy HPs down low in the early game, which greatly synergizes with Draven’s early game high kill pressure. Draven is a monster in the early game.

He reaches his power spike whenever he learns his Q and his W. Both of these skills alone give Draven a strong kill potential in the early game. You can add it to Seraphine’s hyper-aggressive skill spamming, and you have yourself a duo who can guarantee multiple kills in the early game.

Both of their E’s also work great together. Draven can cast his E first, so it slows enemies down. Seraphine can follow up with her E as well to guarantee a root on the enemy team. When an enemy champion gets rooted, Draven can easily kite that champion down and kill them.

It’ll be much easier if he already has 2 spinning axes. Another great combo is when Seraphine hits her R on multiple enemies. This would give Draven the best opportunity to cast his ultimate and hit everyone affected by Seraphine’s taunt.

Also read: Best ADCs to Pair With Lulu

3. Jhin

Every time Sera hits her E double cast, it basically is a free W for Jhin, and they can both follow it up with their poking abilities. Both of them have early game spam abilities that they can synergize to maximize the effects. Seraphine can spam her Q to bring the enemy’s HPs down Jhin can also follow this up with his bouncing grenade and W combo to bring the enemy duo’s HP down to half or even lower.

Poke and long-range abilities are the bread and butter of this duo during the early game. However, the late gamer puts Jhin in a better position because he can now one-shot enemies because of his core items. For Jhin to do this, though, he needs to hit enemies, which is hard given that his abilities are easy to dodge.

Seraphine can fix that with her multiple CC abilities she can stack together. Once enemies are caught by Seraphine’s ult, she can follow it up with her E and double-cast Q to bring enemy HP down. With the maximized CC duration, Jhin can easily hit 2-3 of her bullets, with the 4th one being up to him as the CC would already be gone.

4. Miss Fortune

Poke heavy champions synergize with Seraphine as these types of champions can help Seraphine poke in the early game. A great champion that has an early game poke is Miss Fortune. She can pick the Comet rune, which can easily hit her enemies when combined with her E.

The slow E prohibits enemies hit with it from moving away fast enough to dodge the comet’s damage. Miss Fortune’s E also guarantees the root from Seraphine’s E, making for a great play in the early game. Miss Fortune has incredible damage meaning she can profit from early game kills to propel her towards a fast-growing snowball.

She doesn’t have great 1v1 potential, so she needs Sera to always stay by her side and set kills for her. Luckily Seraphine works great when it comes to this kind of scenario. The synergy from their skills works great. They can also achieve a pentakill together when their ults hit multiple champions. Imagine in the late game, and everybody is preparing for a team fight.

Sera lands her ultimate on 5 enemy champions, which can be followed by her E root. None of the enemies will be able to run away from Miss Fortune’s ultimate. All of them will be eating the entire damage of MF’s bullet time.

Also read: Best ADCs to Pair With Pantheon

5. Sivir

Sivir is one of the best ADCs to poke enemies. Sure, her Q is slow and easy to dodge but when SIvir builds Lethality along with Dark Harvest, getting hit with her Q once is pretty scary. A single hit alone would bring half of your health down. Pair Sivir with Seraphine, and you got yourself a duo with the best poke synergy.

Both of them can burst their enemies down with their basic abilities alone. When Seraphine double casts her E on the enemies, Sivir can easily hit them with her Q. This combo alone could chip away 70% of the enemy’s hp even at the early game. This combo gets even better when Sera learns her ult.

Final Thoughts

Seraphine is excellent at poking down champions, so ADCs that profit well on Dark Harvest works great with her. I hope this article helps you in your future games summoner, GLHF, and see you on the rift.

The post Top 7 Best Supports for Aphelios in Season 14 appeared first on LeagueFeed.

]]>
Although Aphelios isn’t on the number spot in the marksman tier list, he is still a pretty powerful champion in League of Legends. His win rate has been steady in season 14, and he has a couple of favorable matchups that allow him to excel.

Aphelios’s damage output isn’t bad either because his “200 years” ability kit is highly adaptable to situations at hand. However, Aphelios now needs a good support more than ever. So let’s check the top 7 best supports for Aphelios in LoL and see how they work in duo!

1. Nautilus

Nautilus

In reality, Aphelios is a very squishy champion. He lacks defensiveness, and he lacks mobility, which makes him the perfect target for the enemy. And that’s why you should always consider pairing Aphelios with a strong support pick, such as Nautilus.

Whenever Nautilus is in the bot lane, he is the one controlling the pace of the matchup. His Q is one of the deadliest spells in the game, and players usually respect it. As a result, they’re more likely to leave Aphelios alone to farming and scaling, which should always be the goal.

Aside from his apparent cons, Aphelios also has no way of crowd controlling the enemies aside from his snare. But because that depends on his weapon usage, it’s not the most reliable source of CC. On the other hand, Nautilus is a literal God when it comes to locking enemies down, especially one target. His potential to peel and kite for Aphelios is unmatched, so we highly recommend you to give them a try.

Additionally, you can always count on Nautilus’s R to isolate a player so Aphelios can kill him. This ultimate can also be used to knock up multiple opponents up and to give Aphelios as much free time as possible.

Also read: 5 Worst Champions in League of Legends

2. Leona

Leona

Leona is another bully in the bot lane that you can use to boost Aphelios’s power. With Leona, Aphelios gets more wombo-combo potential than with Nautilus. Plus, Leona’s commanding playstyle in the bot lane can also give Aphelios free time to farm minions and scale for the mid-game.

The most significant advantage you get by pairing Aphelios with Leona is the AoE stun after level 6. Solar Flare creates the ideal opportunity for Aphelios to use his Moonlight Vigil and obliterate multiple opponents at the same time. And this is great for both team fights and 2v2 skirmishes in the bot lane.

During the laning phase, Aphelios and Leona can either play aggressively or defensively. As Aphelios, you should really pay attention to your support and only attack after the enemies are crowd controlled. But as Leona, you’re the one that should create the plays and engage first. The abilities of both Leona and Aphelios work well together if timed correctly, so you shouldn’t be afraid to look for fights!

3. Braum

Braum

Braum is a fantastic support pick for Aphelios. For starters, Braum can protect Aphelios like no one else. His Unbreakable wall blocks all the incoming projectiles, including some direct abilities. This ability is exceptionally effective when playing against champions such as Ezreal, Caitlyn, Jinx, and Varus. Blocking some of their spells usually means an outplay since they rely on these spells to deal damage.

Additionally, Braum is also great at crowd control. His passive is a reliable stun effect that he and Aphelios can put on their target. It works well with Aphelios’s kit, especially when he gets the extra attack speed.

Braum’s R, Glacial Fissure, is a very useful tool for both engaging and disengaging. Since Aphelios has no way of stalling his opponents, Braum can use his ultimate to keep the enemies away. And this is very handy when running away from a jungler’s gank, for example.

Keep in mind that these 7 supports are very close performance-wise when paired with Aphelios. You can also go for champions like Soraka or Lulu if enchanter is your preferred playstyle. However, Aphelios requires a lot of babysitting, so be prepared for that.

4. Alistar

Alistar

Aphelios has basically no escape tools whatsoever, he only has Gravitum at best to slow or root pursuers, and that’s only if he even has it available at the time. Alistar’s W is excellent to cover up this weakness, as he can simply knock the enemy back. Alistar’s passive also provides a healing effect that combines with his Severum for a decent amount of sustain.

Alistar can W Q an opponent for a knockup and set up a favorable trade going on the offensive. Aphelios, depending on his current primary and off-hand weapon, can deal heavy amounts of damage and, if he can stay out of his opponent’s range and let Alistar tank the engagement, the outcome may well be a kill or two.

5. Maokai

Maokai

Maokai and Aphelios in the bot lane are like peanut butter and jelly – they just click. Maokai is a tanky support who’s all about that crowd control and frontline beefiness. His saplings are a nightmare in the bush, giving insane vision control and poke damage, which perfectly complements Aphelios, our boy with five weapons.

Aphelios’s versatility means he can adapt to any situation. Maokai’s root with his Twisted Advance sets up kills on a silver platter, and with Aphelios’ Crescendum or Calibrum, it’s like shooting fish in a barrel. Maokai keeps them locked down, and Aphelios mows them down.

Maokai’s passive, Sap Magic, keeps him sustainably tanky, allowing him to shrug off poke and stay in the mix. And let’s not forget the power of his Ultimate, Nature’s Grasp, in team fights – it’s like a red carpet rolled out for Aphelios to strut his stuff. Aphelios, with his Severum, can sustain through skirmishes while dishing out consistent DPS. The synergy is unreal.

6. Lulu

Lulu

This enchanter is absolutely monstrous when it comes to supporting Aphelios. Her W and E have different effects on ally and enemy, essentially having a kit of 5 abilities plus her ultimate, which she can use depending on the need, be it offense or defense.

Once Aphelios completes two or three items, that’s where Lulu really shines, allowing Aphelios to survive long enough, as well as deal more damage to be impactful in teamfights and skirmishes.

7. Senna

Senna

Now, this is probably not the strongest duo you can think of for the early stages of the match, even if Senna has a pretty annoying range to begin with, but oh boy, do they scale HARD into the mid and late game. Aphelios and Senna can easily wipe an entire squad on their own once they hit some item spikes.

Senna’s responsibility during this matchup would be summarized in keeping Aphelios healthy, poking the enemy whenever possible to get gold from the support item, and gaining passive stacks.

And those are the best supports for Aphelios in LoL season 14!

Xayah never really got to the point of power that players wanted for her in season 14. The mythic item changes didn’t give her anything new while simultaneously buffing multiple aspects of other ADC picks. This and similar reasons pushed Xayah in the last place of the bot lane tier list in terms of win rate.

However, Xayah isn’t a weak champion. She packs a lot of damage in her tool kit and can be pretty effective in particular matchups. So let’s talk about the best supports for Xayah in season 14 of League of Legends!

Keep in mind that Xayah is still picked in professional play. This isn’t only because of her survivability (because of her ultimate) but also because of her overall playstyle. So you need to know which supports best suit Xayah and how you can make her work!

1. Rakan

Everybody knows that Xayah and Rakan were released as a packaged product. They are the first official duo that was actually meant to be played that way since the very beginning. So Riot Games gave them a lot of synergies, some of which are

The first bonus you get when playing Xayah and Rakan is the shared recall. We can’t stress enough how powerful this can be in given situations. For example, Rakan can linger in the lane while Xayah is recalling to give false information to the enemies as if they’re staying in the lane. Or, Xayah can finish off her minion wave and then jump onto the recalling Rakan to instantly get back to base. This helps when clearing wards as well. Really, just get creative here!

The Rakan + Xayah combo can play both aggressively or defensively. Rakan has good tools for engaging and disengaging, so it’s more about picking the right time to attack. His W is the perfect setup for Xayah’s feathers, and his E is a reliable defensive option in team fights.

After level 6, the pair grows even more robust due to their additional way of outplaying their opponents. Both of their ultimates can turn the tide of the battle if timed correctly!

2. Thresh

Thresh is perhaps the second-best support Xayah in season 14. He is already great with other ADC champions, but he can also enable Xayah to become the carry.

First off, Thresh is an excellent pick for controlling the laning phase. His Q is one of the scariest abilities in League of Legends, so positioning is essential for Thresh. On the other hand, Xayah can play peacefully since Thresh will always be in the front line. This is really a must for her in season 14.

Xayah also struggles with movement speed deficiency and is prone to ganking before level 6. Thresh can help by throwing her the lantern. This is also useful when Thresh is playing aggressively, and Xayah needs to get near the opponents as fast as possible.

In team fights, Thresh is simply the greatest. His crowd control abilities can open the way for Xayah to deal massive amounts of damage while also protecting her. As long as the enemies cannot lock down Xayah, she is a very effective champion in League and can easily solo carry games!

3. Braum

And lastly, we have Braum! Braum is a fantastic choice for supporting Xayah because he can protect her throughout the game. Xayah needs a bit of time to scale, so surviving the early game is really the key to her success.

Well, Braum has multiple tools for this. His Unbreakable wall can soak all incoming attacks and give Xayah enough time to either run away or deal damage. Additionally, Braum’s passive synergizes well with Xayah’s W, and the additional attack speed helps to quickly put an enemy in stun.

Once they unlock their ultimates, both Xayah and Braum can be pretty helpful in team fights. Xayah’s R is one of the best abilities for a marksman in LoL because it can save her from anything. And Braum’s R can stop anyone from trying to reach Xayah, which is always suitable for an ADC.

4. Nami

Nami goes well with Xayah due to the synergy of Xayah’s W and Nami’s E. Xayah’s W grants her attack speed and movement speed when she hits an enemy champion. Nami’s E empowers her ally, making their subsequent three attacks or abilities deal bonus magic damage and slow the target. The bonus movement speed and slow on the enemy make it very easy to stick to your target, and the bonus attack speed and magic damage make your DPS output a lot higher than usual.

Also, Nami can set up Xayah quite nicely. If Nami can land her Q, Xayah can follow up with a Q and an auto to stack three feathers from her passive right behind the target. Xayah can then cast E to chain a root onto the target and deal a hefty lot of burst. If Nami has her ultimate available, she can stack it on top of this to further the duration of CC on the target.

5. Alistar

Alistar is yet another champion that can stack crowd control with Xayah. His W Q combo that knocks up a target makes it easy for Xayah to follow up with damage. Alistar will more often than not be able to charge his E since his target is not moving, enabling him to end the chain with an aggregate stun.

Alistar is also a really beefy frontline, especially when he reaches level 6, where his ultimate grants him damage reduction to all incoming damage, making him much tankier than he looks. His passive does provide some sustain in lane, allowing him and Xayah to farm and trade more.

6. Blitzcrank

Xayah struggles in reaching enemies she is not already engaging. How can we counter this? Well, pulling the enemy right into us, of course! Blitzcrank is infamous for pulling champions into his team with his Q, granting most ADCs enough time to initiate a favorable trade, and Xayah is no exception to this, especially if she can set up a root on the target.

Blitz also has his abilities as a disengage tool; if an opponent is chasing Xayah, he may pull them toward him, E them for the knock-up, and immediately use his W to get himself out of danger. Even if he gets burst down, Blitzcrank is a challenging champion to kill if he has his passive shield ready.

7. Leona

Leona is no stranger to engaging and tanking; she is exceptional on both fronts. Leona has arguably one of the best kits to engage or disengage fights in her Q E R abilities, and her W makes her nearly impossible to kill once it is appropriately ranked up.

Sometimes, all Xayah needs is a tanky frontliner who can soak up tons of damage and just annoy the enemy in general, and Leona certainly fits that bill.

And those are the top 7 best supports for Xayah in LoL season 14!

Ashe is one of the safest picks you can have as an ADC in season 14. And not only that, but she has held a steady win rate of 52% throughout the season. Ashe fits incredibly well in the current meta and has a fantastic build that works both against squishy champions and tanks. She is able to carry most games if played correctly, so let’s talk about the 7 best supports for Ashe in season 14.

Even though you can’t really choose your support in the chaos of solo queue, it’s useful to know which champions can best aid Ashe in carrying games. And it would be wise of you to consider locking in Ashe whenever you see these three champions in your team!

1. Lux

Ashe and Lux are one of the most powerful bot lane combos in League of Legends. They have an insane amount of synergy and can dominate the laning phase in almost every match. Both of them have two forms of CC – slows and stuns. This means that they can aid each other in landing skill shots and securing kills.

But how does this work precisely?

Easy. In this combo, Ashe can look to poke opponents with her W, and Lux can do the same with her E. Both of these abilities apply slow effects to the enemy champions. And that helps Lux successfully hit her Q (root) or Ashe’s R (stun).

But the biggest power-up of this pair comes after level 6. Once Ashe and Lux have their ultimates, their kill potential in the lane triples. If either Ashe or Lux secures a root or a stun, they can chain CC that target or quickly burst him with Lux’s R. Lux does a lot of damage in the early game, so you should always play aggressively with this combo.

And that’s why Lux is one of the best supports for Ashe in season 14!

2. Zilean

Zilean is also one of the strongest support champions for Ashe, and the pair has a similar playstyle to Lux and Ashe. Zilean provides a good amount of poke damage during the laning phase and offers an extra experience to Ashe and himself. This can open up opportunities for early 2v2 fights when the pair has a level advantage over their opponents.

In turn, Ashe can make things easier for Zilean too. She provides a slow effect on a fairly short cooldown, which Zilean can use to put two bombs on the slowed target. This should ensure favorable trades throughout the laning phase. Or if the enemy players aren’t careful enough, the slow + two bombs combo can net Ashe and Zilean a lot of kills in the early game.

However, the strongest point of this combination comes after level 6. Once Zilean has his ultimate, he and Ashe can start playing a lot more aggressively. Zilean’s R, which brings a champion back to life, is the perfect defensive tool for Ashe. She doesn’t have any mobility or other ways to negate damage. So having the extra life after being a focus target of the enemy team is very useful indeed!

3. Soraka

Soraka isn’t only one of the best supports for Ashe in season 14, but she is the very best! There are many reasons why these champions work so well together, but let’s start with the obvious one.

Soraka is the best healer pick in League of Legends. She practically provides infinite regeneration throughout the match, as long as she is careful not to get hit by her opponents. And even though Ashe’s build in season 14 offers a lot of lifesteal and self-healing, it isn’t nearly enough for the amount of burst damage in the game. But with Soraka at her side, Ashe can 2v5 the enemy team through kiting and overpowering opponents.

One of the tools that many players don’t utilize well on Soraka is her E. This ability silences all targets in the selected area and also snares them if they stay in it. Thanks to Ashe’s slow, Soraka can successfully catch enemies off guard and root them.

But the silence is also useful in heated situations when champions go after Ashe. This can be a great counter to assassins like Zed or Fizz, which rely on their abilities to do damage or escape. That way, Soraka can keep Ashe safe without the need to heal.

4. Braum

What better than a Freljordian duo? The Heart of the Freljord goes exceptionally well with the Frost Archer, not just because they are from the same faction, in the lore. Ashe has an innate slowing effect on her basic attacks thanks to her passive, meaning once Braum manages to trigger the first stack of his passive on an enemy, Ashe will be able to focus on that champion and proc the stun quite easily.

Braum is also quite beefy, and he can block a lot of damage for Ashe thanks to his Unbreakable, making him extremely valuable for keeping her alive. Their ults can also be chained for a nasty bit of crowd control on an enemy, be it for escape or initiation.

5. Leona

Leona makes constant appearances on our top support articles, and how couldn’t she when she brings the best early initiation kit from all supports? Once Leona gets on an enemy and Ashe can slow them down, there’s practically no escaping these two champions from slowly whittling you down.

The disruption Leona brings to the board is hard to ignore, but given the tankiness she gains with her W, it becomes exceptionally hard to focus her down quickly enough without the rest of the team jumping into the fray.

6. Sona

Ashe has great poke in her W ability, Sona has pretty good poke with her Q. Slowly withering your enemy with short bursts of damage like this can end up forcing them out of lane or leave them vulnerable enough for an all-in with Ashe slowing them and Sona granting herself and Ashe bonus movement speed thanks to her E.

Another duo that can chain their ultimates nicely, either of the two can set the other up for a successful and guaranteed ultimate. If you think this lane is easy to shove out because they are squishy, do reconsider that because Sona can keep both healthy with the healing from her W ability.

7. Thresh

Ashe is infamous for her lack of escape tools; she can only slow down the enemy, and that’s basically all she has. For an assassin, this is unlikely to be enough to stop them. That’s where Thresh comes in. A Death Sentence or Flay is enough to stop anybody dead in their tracks, keeping Ashe safe and likely opening a window to allow her to kite back.

As if that is not nearly enough, Thresh’s lantern acts as a “nope” as it can quickly get Ashe out of trouble if she finds herself out of position. Between these two champions, there is enough CC to make an entire enemy team grit their teeth trying to get through.

When you’ve played League of Legends since the beginning, you might be a player who fears ranked games when you see a Leona being picked by the enemy team. Being an ADC, Leona is one of the champions that most fear. ADC’s mostly fear assassin champions like Zed or Talon because of their One-shot bursts.

Still, it is different with Leona. She is the champion with most crowd control abilities in the game, meaning she alone can lock you down for more than 5 seconds if she sequences her skills right.

Her Ult can also be cast upon a very long-range, so wherever you are, if you do not have a dash ability or flash up, it is most likely that you’ll get stunned and locked down in one place. Now that Leona can do let us look at different ADC’s you can use to pair with this aggressive CC machine.

1. Caitlyn

Caitlyn

Of course, to follow up a support champion’s aggressive CC style, you also need a champion that has great CC ability that allows her to burst enemies as they spend their time stunned. Caitlyn can use her snare on the enemy while they are locked down by Leona. This would give Caitlyn the window to burst her enemy down. With Leona being able to lock down her enemy for so long, Caitlyn can cast the 2nd snare on the enemy, further immobile time.

Leona can open up a fight in the early game with her quick combo, and Caitlyn can follow this up with her skills that will be easier to land because the enemy won’t be moving. During the late game, this duo would have a great way to pick enemy carries.

Leona can catch them with her Ult as the opening skill, and everybody can follow up after that. Caitlyn is also great; if an enemy gets away, she can finish them with her Ult. Leona’s passive also works excellent as Caitlyn can always proc this because of her long-range, which damages her enemies more.

2. Miss Fortune

Now here is a champion that needs her opponents to be at one fixed point for her to land her ultimate properly. Miss Fortunes ultimate is so devastating that everybody runs from it when it is cast. But what happens if you get stunned at one location for more than 5 seconds and catch MF’s Ult for its entire duration? Death is guaranteed.

During early-game alone, this duo is already devastating with their synergized abilities. MF can open up trade by slowing the enemy. Leona can go in with her gap closer root ability and stun that enemy. When you are playing Leona, make sure to keep a close watch on your MF’s mana as she won’t be able to follow up your engages when she has no mana. Also, be mindful of your skills. S

equence it nicely so stun durations are maximized, and your passive procs are all used by MF. This way, you will be playing smart, and you will be able to utilize Leona’s value the right way.

3. Draven

A champion that can go really hard even during the laning phase. He needs to reach his level 2 power spike to secure more kills early on in the game. With Leona being a hyper-aggressive support champion, she needs an ADC who is also aggressive given the right circumstances. Draven does just that with his Q and W. He can already deal high damage output even at level 2, thanks to his Q that lets him deal bonus physical damage.

A Leona engages in the early game can be followed up by a Draven because of his blood rush, which boosts his movement speed and attack speed and incredible ability to follow up on Leona’s CCs.

Upon reaching level 6, both champions reach different levels of aggressiveness; Leona can pick apart enemies caught by her ultimate because of its long-range. Draven can then chase that champion down with his blood rush and ultimately let him quickly kill enemy carries because of his High damage output.

4. Vayne

Vayne is also great with Leona as she profits greatly from Leona’s stuns and roots. Vayne can quickly follow up on a Leona engage with her ultimate + Q initiate. Vayne is also great even though Leona has her skills on cooldown as Vayne can self-peel with her invisibility passive from her ultimate and a push from condemn.

This champion is a monster at engaging the enemy team and punishing them with significant damage coming from Vayne. But of course, during the early game, Leona might not want to engage enemies and focus on peeling Vayne as she farms for her core items and while waiting for her power spike.

Upon reaching Vayne’s power spike, this duo should take advantage of their strong engages and win their lane.

5. Varus

Following up on Leona’s engages doesn’t always mean you need to be close and personal with an enemy champion. Sometimes you want champions Varus who can burst down enemies from a faraway range while also chain CC with Leona from his Ult.

Leona can engage Varus in the early game to bring down the enemy’s health. When the trade is made, Varus can finish the enemy off with his empowered Q. If he builds a dark harvest lethality build, he might just be able to one-shot the enemy even if they are at ¼ or ½ of their health. Leona won’t worry too much about peeling Varus, as Varus can keep hitting enemies safely.

Conclusion

Leona is always great, even when playing with a newbie ADC player. This support is both great in engaging and peeling, perfect for teaming up with new players. Leona can babysit every lane in the game during the early phase. Make sure to build mobility boots on her so you can roam around your teammate’s lanes and help them. With that in mind, I hope you have a great day and win more games. GLHF summoner, see you on the rift.

Lux is an excellent caster champion that can zone her enemies away from minion range during the early game. She is such a lane bully in the laning phase that gives ADCs a hard time to score CS.

Her value does not fall off either-even if the game reaches the 30-minute mark, as she can be used as a carry champion too. By late game, she would have so much damage and ability haste built that she can cast her ultimate often. This is great to clear minion waves and use it to deal heavy poke damage on the enemies.

She is also great at setting kills for her ADC champion anytime during the game. With that said, let us take a look at 5 of the best ADCs you can pair with her.

1. Caitlyn

Caitlyn is a great ADC to pair with Lux because of her W snare. Once an enemy is caught with Lux’s Q, that enemy will be guaranteed dead with this duo in the early game as the CC chain is too much, along with the burst damage they both deal.

An excellent cheese strategy you can use in the early game with this duo is to wait for the enemies on the tri brush. If they went to leash their jungler take the Red buff, they are gonna walk towards the tri brush to get back to lane. When this happens, be sure to take Caitlyn’s W and Lux’s Q.

Plant traps in the bush where you expect the enemy to walk to. When they walk to your trap, just hit them and make sure Lux uses her Q just at the right time before your snare duration ends. If the enemy survives, try to predict where they will flash and put a trap on that location so you can finish them with a headshot.

2. Morgana

Now, this is really a fun build, not really an attack damage champion, but Morgana can be picked to be a carry champion at the bot lane. This is a very dangerous duo to face in the bot lane. As they stack their CCs together, you won’t be able to play the game. Even if you build a QSS, you will still be immobilized by their skills.

Morgana or Lux can open up a pick with their Q ability. When an enemy is hit, be sure to stack your skills at the right time to maximize the duration of the enemy’s immobility.

They have lots of CC abilities, so they really don’t have to worry about ganks in the early game, provided that they have good river vision so they can react quickly on ganks.

Also read: Best ADCs for Galio

3. Jhin

With both of the champions having long-range skills, lane dominance is imminent. Hitting a Q with Lux on an enemy means a free W hit from Jhin, and this is an excellent poking technique you can use in the early game. Both champions can also follow these roots up with high damage making them win early trades and establish lane dominance.

In the late game, these champions have incredibly long-range ultimates they can both use at the backline. During team fights, they can stay behind their teammates and still deal tons of damage to enemies.

Suppose the enemies manage to get a plank. In that case, Lux can peel on Jhin with her Q, and his W. Jhin is no pushover when he is within range of his auto-attack as he can deal over a thousand damage with a single hit in the late game.

4. Ezreal

This duo has a very high all-in burst potential with its low cooldowns and high damage outputs. Once caught with a Lux Q + E combo, Ezreal can continuously poke the enemy down with his Q spam and W enhancements. If the enemy manages to get away, both of them can finish that champion off with their ultimate abilities.

Ezreal is a very squishy champion if he focuses on building damage items, so you’re going to need to focus and cast your W on Ez frequently, so he won’t get his health poked down by enemies. Ezreal can also build tank items, and if he does, you can focus on your Lux by building damaged items so you can help him deal damage.

Also read: Best ADCs to Pair With Braum

5. Ashe

A very excellent lane bully duo in the laning phase. This duo spends most of their time casting their abilities on enemy champions in the early game to zone them out of minion EXP range. If they manage to do this, Ashe can power farm ahead of the enemy ADC and gain the upper hand for the mid-game.

Their power spike is post-level 6 because of their ultimate abilities. Ashe can open up a fight with her ultimate, and Lux can follow up with her Q to extend CC duration. Both of them can throw their skills to burst down the enemy, and be sure to use Lux’s ult at the beginning of the fight so that you won’t take away the kill from Ashe

Conclusion

Lux is a grand champion that can peel and play aggressively. She has high versatility, which means there are lots of ways you can play here, depending upon the situation. She works great with most ADCs, but the ones mentioned above are the top 5 ADCs with so much value when paired with Lux support. With all that in mind, I wish you Goodluck on your next games. See you on the rift summoner, GLHF, when you decide to play a game as Lux support.

Thresh is one of the most iconic support champions in League of Legends. Of course, you’ve seen him in those prediction montages where his hooks turn the tides of battle when he predicts enemy flashes with it and catches them, leading to a takedown. Clean plays where he lands a hook, flashes towards a faraway teammate and gets them with his lantern to secure a kill.

There are many playstyles for Thresh. He initiates a winning team fight or peels the enemy ADC so potently, leading to a fast-growing ADC snowball. Regardless of playstyles, Thresh is a grand champion with lots of CC and slow with relatively significant damage, making him dangerous for 1v1’s. With that in mind, let us take an in-depth look at the 5 best ADC champions you can pair him

1. Lucian

Lucian and Thresh might be sworn enemies in the main lore of league of legends. Still, in the summoner’s rift, they are an overwhelming duo. They make for a tremendous hyper-aggressive lane that dominates 2v2 fights at any point of the game. Thresh’s low cooldown CC and slows can easily lock enemies, while Lucian’s dashes and animation cancel quickly demolish enemies locked down by Thresh.

This duo excels in aggressive laning. Lucian’s dash (Relentless Pursuit) synergizes with Thresh’s engage tools (Death Sentence and Flay). Lucian can dash in after a Thresh hook for quick burst damage with his Piercing Light and double shot passive.

They should aim for early game dominance, capitalizing on Lucian’s strong early to mid-game power spike. It’s all about quick trades and outmaneuvering opponents with their combined mobility and CC.

Also read: Best ADCs to Pair With Vel’Koz

2. Draven

When paired with Thresh, the usual playmaker of the duo is not the ADC but Thresh the support himself. A hook followed by a flay and an ult makes an enemy extremely vulnerable. Usually, all the ADC has to do is kill the enemy that was caught. Thresh has severe damage from his skills, so a Draven who has a straightforward tactic can easily burst enemies down. Once an enemy is caught by Thresh, it is usually a guaranteed kill for Draven as enemies won’t be able to run away from a high-ability haste Thresh.

Draven excels when he can catch his spinning axes without pressure. Thresh’s hooks and crowd control create perfect opportunities for Draven to deal massive damage with his axes. The key is for Thresh to initiate and Draven to follow up with his Stand Aside and Whirling Death. This duo should focus on snowballing Draven early, leveraging his raw damage output whenever Thresh lands a hook.

3. Caitlyn

Caitlyn has an exciting kit that prevents enemies from getting near her. She has a trap that CCs enemies and lets her deal bonus headshot damage. She also has an E that slows enemies and makes Caitlyn jump back. With this self-peeling potential of Caitlyn, Thresh can look to roam the other lanes so their teammates can also have a lead.

They can also do one exciting combo together, and it depends upon Caitlyn’s trap placement. It is easy to walk around and dodge Caitlyn’s traps when you are faced with a Caitlyn. But when she places it well enough, followed by a thresh hook and flay, it gets more complicated.

Caitlyn’s long-range and trap setup combine well with Thresh’s hook and lantern for zoning control. They should focus on poking and controlling the lane. After Thresh lands a hook, Caitlyn can place a Yordle Snap Trap underneath for extended CC, allowing them to secure kills or force the enemy out of lane. This duo is about exerting lane pressure and catching enemies off-guard with their CC chain.

4. Twitch

Twitch is an excellent ADC that can demolish entire teams in the late game. All he needs is a wall to stand before him to hit all of the enemies with his ult. Thresh is great for him as he can be the shield that Twitch needs. Twitch doesn’t really need an excellent set from his support. He can kill enemies on his own because of his invisibility and slowness.

Twitch’s stealth and ambush potential work well with Thresh’s ability to peel and create picks. In this pairing, Thresh should focus on protecting Twitch and setting up plays, while Twitch should capitalize on Thresh’s CC to unleash his Rat-ta-tat-tat in team fights. They should play the early game safely, scaling into a potent late-game force where Twitch can decimate entire teams.

5. Kalista

Both coming from the shadow isles, this duo works excellent when you know what you are doing. Playing Kalista can be pretty challenging with her passive and mediocre damage output. But with Thresh’s low cooldown hooks and flays, Kalista can shine with her ramping-up damage. The longer Kalista fights, the stronger her damage gets because of her passive. It would also be easier to initiate fights with Kalista’s ult and Thresh’s flay combo. Once enemies get hit with Kalista’s ult, Thresh can easily lock them all down with his flay and ult.

This duo is all about mobility and chaining their abilities. Kalista’s Rend stacks synergize with Thresh’s CC for extended trades. Thresh’s engage combined with Kalista’s ultimate, Fate’s Call, allows for powerful initiation and crowd control in fights. Their playstyle revolves around constant movement, kiting, and making the most of their synergistic abilities to control and dominate the lane.

Final Thoughts

Thresh is incredibly aggressive support because his skills have a low cooldown. He is also great at peeling ADCs with his flay and lantern. Just make sure to adjust your playstyle depending on what team comp you are facing, along with your item build. Thank you so much for reading my content, and I hope you enjoyed it as I invest time and effort in making these articles. I hope this article helps you in your future games summoner, GLHF, and see you on the rift.

Have you ever laned against Soraka’s support? I know how annoying it is if you don’t have to ignite or grievous wound inflicting item. Soraka heals her ADC so much with a pretty low cooldown that their enemies are already near death after trades. Soraka’s ADC is still standing at full health. Another annoying thing from Soraka is she constantly bombards you with her Q that slows you and speeds her up. It also heals her so she can spam her heal on her ADC even more.

To top it all off, she also has a silence ability that can be instantly cast, giving you no time to react. She is excellent at peeling for her ADC and poking enemies as well. She really works with almost every ADC in the game, meaning is a generalist support champion. Still, some outshine others when it comes to laning and late-game fights. Let us take a look at 5 of the best ADC champions that you can pair with Soraka.

1. Kog’Maw

Kog'maw

Kog’Maw paired with Soraka is like having a ticking time bomb in bot lane. Early on, Kog’Maw needs to play the survival game, and that’s where Soraka’s heals are clutch. She keeps him in lane, farming and scaling.

Once Kog’Maw hits his item spikes, it’s showtime. With Soraka’s constant healing and silencing support, Kog’Maw can position himself fearlessly, unleashing a barrage of damage from his Bio-Arcane Barrage and Living Artillery.

This duo excels in drawn-out fights, where Kog’Maw, the artillery cannon, continuously shreds through enemies while Soraka ensures he stays up and firing.

2. Vayne

Vayne is a very squishy champion that can be killed pretty quickly if she doesn’t have lifesteal. Soraka can fix this for Vayne as Soraka is the ultimate heal champion. She literally is played for the sole purpose of healing her allies. It might not be a good idea to play two squishy champions in the bot lane, especially when the enemy has assassin champions. Still, you can mitigate this by buying lots of wards on Soraka and preventing flanks from the enemy team.

Vayne is an all-in champion that is very strong but also needs extensive peeling. Soraka can heal Vayne as she kites through multiple enemies in the late game. Soraka can also keep up with Vayne because her passive boosts her movement speed when her allies reach a certain hp threshold.

Kai’Sa with Soraka turns the bot lane into a high-octane battlefield. Kai’Sa’s playstyle is all about diving in, bursting down targets, and slipping away – and Soraka’s healing ensures she can do this repeatedly.

Soraka’s Astral Infusion keeps Kai’Sa topped up, while her Equinox (E) adds a layer of protection against counterattacks. This duo thrives on quick, decisive skirmishes.

Kai’Sa can aggressively use her Icathian Rain and Killer Instinct, knowing Soraka’s Wish (R) is there as a safety net. It’s a pairing that offers both the burst damage to eliminate targets and the sustainability to stay in the fight longer.

4. Samira

Samira loves to dash behind enemy lines and fight them there. This puts her at risk of dying fast, so a Soraka pick is natural for this champion. With Soraka as support, Samira can easily do as she pleases and dash towards enemies all the time without worrying about her health.

The bread and butter for Samira’s pentakill potential are her ultimate. Sure this is a strong ability. Still, it can be easily stopped with a single hard CC. Soraka can fix this by using her silence as Samira casts her ult. This way, nobody interrupts Samira. In addition to that, they can get rooted if they stay inside Soraka’s E long enough.

5. Jhin

It’ll be much easier to hit your root as Jhin when enemies are slowed. Once Soraka hits her Q and slows an enemy, it’ll be followed by a cascade of combos from this duo. Jhin hits his root on the enemy, and he can AA that champion to the full extent of his 4 bullets. Soraka can extend the root duration with her E and silence.

With Jhin having an extremely strong early game because of his 4th shot, kills are almost guaranteed every time they hit this combo right.

Final Thoughts

When playing with a Soraka support, try to pick champions like the ones mentioned above, don’t be afraid to go all-in and commit to fights. Soraka excels at prolonged fights because she can heal her allies often. Just make sure to never back down once a fight erupts.
