League of Legends is a game in which skill is dictated by many factors, this is great because doing just about anything will have you improve at the game. However, some things will allow you to improve faster than other things.

By analyzing trends of the highest-ranked players, I have found that, initially, most of them got their success by learning from already established players that came before them. This made me pursue the same path on my ranked journey and helped me climb through the ranks consistently.

Other than listing all the streamers, I will also help you understand how to get the most value out of watching educational streamers. I have no doubt that it will help you shortcut your ranked journey!

Best Educational Jungle Streamers and YouTubers

1. Nathan Mott1. Nathan Mott

When it comes to learning anything in League of Legends the most important thing is knowing the so-called “fundamentals.’ The fundamentals are the core rules of the game, which you will practice endlessly through your climb. These are especially important for playing the Jungle, and Nathan Mott is the best source for learning them.

On his YouTube channel, Nathan features a huge library of videos explaining every rule of the jungle in bite-sized videos. Going over these videos and practicing the concepts within them will make you a killer jungler extremely fast.

Additionally, Nathan has recently started uploading long-form videos, and each video focuses on studying a single champ extensively. The videos often feature elite players for the given champ, and their expert findings from thousands of games.

To sum it up, if I were limited to watching only 1 educational jungle streamer it would be Natan Mott. He starts teaching from the bottom and up, making it easy for every viewer to become a well-rounded player.

2. Virkayu2. Virkayu

Virkayu is an astrophysics graduate, qualified teacher, bodybuilder, and most importantly, a Master tier League of Legends player.  Much like Nathan Mott, he creates videos around all Jungle-related topics.

His videos are mostly centered around helping lower-high ranked players, while Nathan focuses more on APEX tiers. It is not to say that high ELO players have nothing to learn from Virkayu.

When it comes to his channel, you can expect 3 things. Highest production quality, consistent uploads, and engaging content. He will teach you the latest strongest picks, how to play them, and how to play against them if you happen to face them in a duel!

3. Phylaris3. Phylaris

Phylaris is a huge legend in the League of Legends community. He has made a name for himself by publishing videos featuring the fastest clears for specific champions.

Back in the day, the jungle was a little more sophisticated, and to get the most advantage, you would need to clear it efficiently. Since the jungle got simplified, we lost this kind of skill expression, and the main point of his channel has lost a lot of relevance. Luckily he still found a way to stay relevant by posting high-quality content!

The content in question is elite gameplay analysis. In his latest video, he dissected the gameplay of the rank 1 Master Yi player in the EUW. This is amazing as it allows us to actually understand the minds of the most talented players, and implement their strategies to our own gameplay.

4. Broxah4. Broxah

Regarding skill, Broxah is a player that would definitely top this list. He is a professional League of Legends player that is currently focused on streaming. The thing he is best known for is his chill and mellow personality.

Broxah is the streamer I recommend for people who want to enjoy quality gameplay, with no toxicity, and still learn about the game. He might not focus on the educational content as much as others, but he for sure is fun to watch!

5. Kingstix5. Kingstix

Kingstix is a highly-ranked player who is known for his frequent trips down the ranks. He visits the lower-ranked players and teaches you how to play by beating them. Some people are against this approach, but no one can claim it is ineffective.

What makes his channel great is how beginner-friendly it is. He will play every jungle champion under the sun, and provide consistent uploads. This makes it easy for anyone to search the huge library of content and learn their target champion.

Kingstix will also teach you all the most fun builds. If there is a new hot playstyle, you will be among the first ones to know if you follow his channel.

Author’s Take

All these guys are great, but my personal go-to is Nathan Mott. He is the person who has initially helped me grow from a D4 player to a Master one, in a really brief period of time. To this day, he is still my favorite source of League of Legends jungle fundamentals.

Conclusion

If I were to single out one approach for League of Legends and call it the best, it would be learning from other players. This approach helps us avoid making silly mistakes and shortens the learning curve by giving us the knowledge of players who have already figured out the game.

If this sounds appealing to you, all that’s left for you to do is find the best players to follow according to your bracket. For lower-ranked players, I would recommend definitely recommend Kingstix. He can guide you all the way to plat!

If you happen to be one of the higher-ranked players, you can start tuning in to Broxah streams. To perfect your gameplay though, you will certainly find Nathan Motts’s advice useful.

Finally, there are Phylaris and Virkayu. Phylaris will grant you the knowledge of the most elite players in the world, while Virkayu will give you nicely packaged information that is easy to digest.

Welcome, summoners, to our definitive list of the Top 20 Best High Elo Junglers in League of Legends! If you’re eager to carry your team from the dark recesses of the jungle while flexing your tactical prowess, you’ve come to the right place.

This list will introduce you to the top-tier jungle maestros that are ready to wreak havoc on their unsuspecting foes, all while ensuring that their teammates enjoy the thrill of victory.

Prepare yourself for a cavalcade of champions that possess the ability to secure objectives, slay mighty dragons, and make enemy laners question their life choices. From sneaky assassins lurking in the shadows to beefy bruisers delivering bone-crushing blows, these junglers have mastered the art of taking over the Rift.

So, buckle up, and get ready to channel your inner Tarzan, because we’re about to embark on a wild adventure through the upper echelons of the jungle hierarchy.

20. Jarvan IV20. Jarvan IV

Jarvan IV, also known as “J4”, is a champion that likes to get up close and personal with his enemies. With his trusty lance and flag, he charges into battle like a knight in shining armor, ready to serve up some justice with a side of fries.

But don’t be fooled by his noble demeanor – this prince is no pushover. He can trap enemies in his Demacian Standard, knock them up with his Dragon Strike, and even imprison them in his Cataclysm. And if all that wasn’t enough, he can even buff his allies with his Golden Aegis.

With Jarvan IV on your team, you can be sure that the enemy won’t know what hit them. And if they’re lucky, they might even get a chance to sample some of his famous Demacian cuisine – just don’t ask what’s in it.

19. Vi19. Vi

Vi is a powerhouse of a jungler, known for her ability to punch her way through anything that stands in her path. If you’re looking for someone who can knock up enemies and knock down towers with equal ease, then Vi is the champion for you.

Her kit is simple but effective, with a Q that lets her charge into battle like a rampaging rhinoceros, and an ult that sends enemies flying like they’re auditioning for a part in a Michael Bay movie.

But Vi’s true strength lies in her ability to tilt her opponents off the face of the earth. Few things are more satisfying than landing a fully charged Q on an unsuspecting ADC and watching them get sent flying into oblivion, their dreams of carrying their team to victory shattered like a poorly placed ward.

And if you really want to rub salt in the wound, you can always spam Vi’s laugh as you saunter away, secure in the knowledge that you’ve made someone’s day just a little bit worse.

18. Zac18. Zac

Zac, the Secret Weapon, is a slimy, bouncy blob of goo that can slingshot himself into the heart of a teamfight faster than a sneeze. As a jungler, he’s one of the few champions that can engage, disengage, and re-engage with the grace of a ballerina on a trampoline.

His kit allows him to surprise his enemies with his Elastic Slingshot, knock them up with his Unstable Matter, and then splatter them into the ground with his ultimate, Let’s Bounce!

But don’t be fooled by his gooey exterior; Zac is a force to be reckoned with. He’s like a Slinky on steroids – always bouncing back for more. And if you ever find yourself in a sticky situation, Zac’s passive, Cell Division, will let him split into even more blobs of goo, making him nearly impossible to kill.

So whether you’re looking to engage like a pro or just want to slim down your enemies, Zac is the champion for you.

17. Sejuani17. Sejuani

Sejuani, one of the Queens of the Freljord, is a formidable jungler that has been a mainstay in high elo games for years. Her icy personality may be chilly, but her kit is hot enough to melt even the coldest of hearts. With her trusty boar Bristle by her side, Sejuani charges into battle, leaving her enemies frozen in fear.

But don’t let her frosty exterior fool you – Sejuani is a warm and cuddly pick for any team. Her ability to initiate team fights and lock down squishy opponents with her ultimate, Glacial Prison, makes her a valuable asset in any composition. And with her passive, Fury of the North, she can even take a hit or two while dishing out some serious damage.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out in the world of League of Legends, Sejuani is a champion that you won’t want to let slip through your frozen fingers.

16. Nunu & Willump16. Nunu & Willump

Nunu & Willump, the dynamic duo of the Freljord, have found their way into high elo games thanks to their unique kit and overwhelming cuteness. Nunu, the young boy, and his yeti companion, Willump, make for an unlikely jungle pair, but their synergy is undeniable.

Willump’s massive size and raw strength make him an excellent tank and front-line fighter, while Nunu’s ability to control the battlefield with his ice-based abilities make him a powerful asset in any team composition.

But let’s be real, the real reason Nunu & Willump are played in high elo is because they’re freaking adorable. Who wouldn’t want to play as a little boy riding on the back of a giant yeti, throwing snowballs at enemies and creating giant snowballs to roll over unsuspecting foes?

It’s like a winter wonderland come to life, and watching Willump chomp on minions and champions alike is just too damn cute. So if you’re looking for a champion that’s both fun and effective, look no further than Nunu & Willump. Just be prepared to squeal with delight every time Willump uses his ultimate ability to create a massive snowball that rolls over everything in its path.

15. Kindred15. Kindred

Kindred is a ranged marksman jungle champion that has been a staple pick in high elo games for quite some time now. With their unique abilities to mark and hunt down specific enemy champions, Kindred’s playstyle is akin to a merciless bounty hunter who’s always on the lookout for their next prey.

Not only that, but Kindred’s ultimate ability, Lamb’s Respite, creates a circular area that prevents all champions, friend or foe, from dying within its radius – making them the ultimate party pooper for any enemy team looking to score some quick kills.

But let’s be real, the real reason why Kindred is played in high elo is because they’re just so damn cute. Who can resist the charm of a fluffy, adorable wolf that also happens to have deadly arrows? Plus, their voice lines are pure gold – who doesn’t love hearing “The cycle of life and death continues, we will live, they will die” in that cute little voice?

14. Rengar14. Rengar

Rengar, the ferocious feline, is a jungle assassin who loves nothing more than pouncing on unsuspecting enemies and tearing them to shreds. His ability to stealth, leap, and burst down enemies make him a deadly force in high elo games.

But let’s be real, it’s not just Rengar’s deadly kit that makes him so popular among high elo players – it’s also his style. Who doesn’t love playing as a badass cat-man who wears a bone necklace and roars at the moon? Plus, there’s something deeply satisfying about using his ultimate to leap out of the bushes and scare the living daylights out of your enemies.

So if you’re looking for a high skill cap champion with a little bit of flair, look no further than Rengar – just watch out for those pesky wards!

13. Xin Zhao13. Xin Zhao

Xin Zhao, also known as “The Seneschal of Demacia”, is a fearsome jungler that has recently seen a resurgence in high elo play. This burly manly man brings a lot of power and reliability to the jungle, with his kit consisting of gap closers, CC, and even sustain.

His ultimate allows him to knock up and push away enemies, making him a great asset in team fights. And let’s not forget about his sickly sweet beard – it’s almost as powerful as his ganks.

But why is Xin Zhao suddenly so popular in high elo? Perhaps it’s his simple yet effective playstyle, which allows him to focus on farming and ganking without worrying too much about mechanics. Or maybe it’s because he’s just so darn manly – after all, who wouldn’t want to play a champion who shouts “DEMACIA” with every critical strike?

Whatever the reason, Xin Zhao is definitely a force to be reckoned with in the jungle, and he’s sure to bring some much-needed testosterone to your team’s composition.

12. Karthus12. Karthus

Karthus, the Deathsinger, is a champion that has been haunting high elo for years now. Despite being as squishy as a marshmallow, Karthus has an uncanny ability to turn the tide of a team fight with a single press of his R key.

His ultimate, Requiem, has the ability to deal massive damage to all enemy champions on the map, allowing him to rack up kills even from the grave. No wonder he’s known as the “Press R to Win” champion!

But there’s more to Karthus than just his powerful ultimate. With his passive ability, Death Defied, he has the ability to deal damage even after he’s been taken down. This makes him the ultimate “I’ll just take you with me” champion, much to the frustration of his opponents.

So if you’re up against a Karthus in high elo, don’t be surprised if he ends up haunting your nightmares (and your death screen) for days to come.

11. Taliyah11. Taliyah

Taliyah, the Stoneweaver, has been making waves in high elo for a while now. And by waves, I mean literal waves of earth and rock that she can summon at will.

If you’re looking for a champion that can dish out massive amounts of damage while also being incredibly mobile, Taliyah is the champ for you.

Not only can she create walls of stone to block enemy paths, but she can also surf on the very same rocks and earth to make quick escapes or surprise attacks.

Plus, with her ultimate ability, she can create an entire highway of boulders that can take her and her team straight to the enemy base. Talk about a rock and roll party!

10. Kayn10. Kayn

Kayn is a versatile champion that can be played in both the jungle and the top lane. He’s a bit like the Arnold Schwarzenegger of League of Legends – he can transform into either a beefy tank or a nimble assassin depending on the situation.

His ability to change forms mid-game makes him a tricky opponent to deal with, as you never know what he’s going to do next. It’s like trying to predict the weather in England – it could go either way!

Kayn is especially popular in high elo because of his ability to snowball games. Once he gets ahead, he’s like a runaway train – there’s no stopping him. His Shadow Assassin form in particular can dish out insane burst damage, leaving his enemies wondering what the hell just happened.

Playing against a good Kayn is like playing a game of chess against Bobby Fischer – you know you’re in trouble, but you can’t help but admire the skill on display.

9. Olaf9. Olaf

Olaf, the Berserker, is a champion that has been around for a while, but recently he’s been making a comeback in high elo play. And let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want to play a champion who’s essentially a jacked-up Viking with an axe the size of a small car?

One of the reasons Olaf has been seeing more play in high elo is his ability to dish out insane amounts of damage while also being extremely difficult to kill. With his ultimate, Ragnarok, Olaf can essentially ignore any form of crowd control and just go berserk on his enemies.

And if that doesn’t work, he can just throw his axe at them from a mile away and still do enough damage to make them regret ever crossing him.

8. Hecarim8. Hecarim

Hecarim, the shadow of war, the bringer of doom, the… who am I kidding? He’s a freaking horse with a spear on his head! But don’t let that fool you, this stallion packs a punch like no other. With his devastating charge and crowd control abilities, Hecarim can make his opponents run like they’re being chased by a herd of angry unicorns.

But the real magic happens when he activates his ultimate ability, Onslaught of Shadows. It’s like watching a stampede of wild horses, except this one is headed straight for your enemies’ faces.

And if that’s not enough to make you want to ride off into the sunset with this guy, just know that he’s probably the only jungler who can pull off a bow tie AND a spear at the same time. Now that’s what I call fashion and function!

7. Evelynn7. Evelynn

Evelynn, the demon diva of the jungle, is not your typical jungler. With her seductive charm and demonic powers, she’s the ultimate predator who stalks her prey from the shadows. Her passive, Demon Shade, allows her to become invisible when out of combat, making her the ultimate sneak.

One minute you’re happily farming your jungle camps, and the next, you’re being attacked by a rogue demon who seemingly came out of nowhere. But hey, that’s just Evelynn for you.

As if that wasn’t enough, Evelynn’s Q, Hate Spike, allows her to spam spikes of pure hatred that hurt enemies in a cone in front of her. Her W, Allure, seduces enemy champions, slowing them down and revealing them to her. And her ultimate, Last Caress, allows her to blink to a location and deal massive damage to all enemies in the area.

6. Graves6. Graves

Graves is the type of guy who always looks like he just stepped out of a cologne commercial, but don’t let his rugged good looks fool you, he’s a force to be reckoned with on the Rift. This cigar-smoking shotgun-wielding jungler is a favorite pick among pro players for his high damage output and versatile playstyle.

Not only can Graves dish out a ton of damage in team fights, but he’s also able to clear the jungle quickly and effectively. His unique passive, True Grit, grants him bonus armor and magic resistance for a few seconds after he uses an ability, making him a difficult target to take down.

And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love the sound of shotgun shells echoing through Summoner’s Rift?

5. Rek’Sai5. Rek'Sai

Rek’Sai is one of the most feared creatures in the jungle and a top-tier pick in professional play. She’s a burrowing terror that can pop out of nowhere to gank your lane faster than you can say “sandwich.”

Her Tremor Sense ability allows her to detect enemy movements through the ground, making her an excellent tracker and giving her unparalleled map control. Plus, have you seen those teeth? No wonder she’s the queen of the jungle!

Rek’Sai’s kit is loaded with everything a pro jungler needs to succeed: strong clear speeds, powerful ganks, and the ability to navigate the map with ease. Her Unburrow knock-up and Tunnel system allow her to quickly and efficiently move around the map, giving her plenty of opportunities to ambush unsuspecting enemies.

And with her ultimate, Void Rush, she can quickly jump across the map to secure objectives or join a teamfight in a flash.

4. Kha’Zix4. Kha'Zix

Kha’Zix, the bug assassin, is a favorite among high elo players for his unique playstyle and unmatched ability to prey on unsuspecting enemies. With his stealthy leap, razor-sharp claws, and voracious hunger for evolution, Kha’Zix is the ultimate predator of the jungle.

One of Kha’Zix’s biggest strengths is his adaptability. He can evolve his abilities to suit the situation at hand, whether it’s increasing his burst damage with his Q, improving his mobility with his E, or gaining additional stealth with his R.

He also has exceptional gank potential, with his ability to jump in and out of fights quickly, making him a nightmare for squishy carries.

3. Nidalee3. Nidalee

Nidalee, the queen of the jungle, is a purr-fectly feline champion that dominates in high elo. She’s a versatile champion that can shred through enemy teams with her devastating spear throws and feline form abilities. Not to mention, her cougar form makes her one of the fastest and most mobile champions in the game, which can really make enemies’ hair stand on end.

Nidalee’s ability to kite and poke enemies from afar makes her a real headache for anyone trying to engage her, and her ability to roam and gank is simply clawsome. Plus, if you’re a fan of cats, playing as Nidalee is the ultimate meow-ment. Nidalee is the perfect jungler for you. Just be warned, enemies may get a little catty when they see you coming.

2. Elise2. Elise

This master of the arachnid arts is as elegant as she is deadly, gracefully weaving her way through the Rift while leaving her enemies tangled in her sinister web. Don’t let her sultry appearance fool you, though; underneath that charming smile lies a cold-hearted killer, ready to drop down on unsuspecting opponents like a spider pouncing on an oblivious fly. And if you’ve ever seen her dance, you’d know that she can do the cha-cha-cha with more legs than you can shake a stick at.

What makes Elise so terrifyingly good in the hands of high ELO players is her versatility and adaptability. Whether she’s jungling, top laning, or even masquerading as a mid-laner, Elise’s kit offers a cornucopia of crowd control, damage, and mobility that would make even Spider-Man green with envy.

Thanks to her ability to shift between human and spider forms, she’s got more tools in her web-filled utility belt than a Swiss Army Knife on steroids. Combine this with her potent ganks and tower dives, and Elise becomes an eight-legged nightmare that can single-handedly (or should we say, single-leggedly) carry games.

1. Lee Sin1. Lee Sin

Lee Sin, the Blind Monk, is an iconic champion in the world of League of Legends that has gained a reputation for being a true force to be reckoned with, especially in high Elo. While he may be visually impaired, this monk’s keen senses and martial arts prowess more than make up for it. Lee Sin has been known to take his opponents down with style, often leaving them feeling like they just got schooled by a blindfolded Bruce Lee.

The reason Lee Sin is a high-Elo powerhouse is largely due to his exceptional mobility and mechanical depth. His Q, “Sonic Wave,” allows him to dash around the map like a caffeinated squirrel on roller skates, while his E, “Tempest,” and R, “Dragon’s Rage,” combine to form a thunderous kick that sends enemies flying like a disgruntled football.

This level of mobility, combined with his high skill ceiling, means that a masterful Lee Sin player can pull off flashy plays that leave opponents scratching their heads in confusion. And let’s face it, nothing feels better than being the reason your enemies are too busy typing “WTF?” in chat to actually play the game.

Conclusion

In conclusion, our journey through the Top 20 Best High Elo Junglers in League of Legends has revealed the cream of the crop when it comes to dominating from the shadows. These champions have proven their worth time and time again, instilling fear in the hearts of their enemies while leading their teams to glorious victory.

Anyone who has played League of Legends has faced the disadvantage of blind picking. Selecting your champion without knowing what you are up against can put you in an unfavorable position. For junglers especially, it can also put your entire team in an extremely tough spot.

Junglers can influence all lanes, turn lane counter matchups, secure objectives and set the tone for the game. Therefore, you can say it is the most pivotal role in both early game success as well as objective control. This is why we will focus on finding the best blind pick junglers.

Getting counter-picked in the jungle will affect you and your team. The enemy jungler can use their superior champion matchup to limit your movement on the map. Consequently, they can also stop your lanes from playing freely.

In this article, our goal is to list some of the most solid picks to blind pick for jungling. There are many reasonable options other than those we have listed, but the mentioned ones have turned out to be the most reliable options no matter the meta.

Jarvan IV

Best Blind Pick Jungler Jarvan IV League of LegendsJarvan is one of the most pivotal jungle champions in League of Legends. He is always a frequent part of professional League of Legends gameplay as well as casual games. Jarvan is truly a timeless champion, a fact that is proven by his success in every meta of the game.

Jarvan is such a great blind pick option because of his flexibility. Consistent clear speeds, creative gank paths, crowd control abilities, and utility make it so the champion can be made to cater to any playstyle and any jungle meta.

The flexibility also extends to the build paths you can follow when playing Jarvan. You can go for a bruiser build or you can follow a tank build, whichever seems more suitable for the situation. The bruiser build offers significantly more damage while the tank build offers a lot more in the way of engaging fights and offering utility for his team.

With his Ultimate, Jarvan is able to lock in any immobile enemy champions in a small space. This gives his teammates the perfect opportunity to quickly get rid of the enemy high priority targets and win fights. All in all, the champion does not really have any drawbacks.

Graves

Best Blind Pick Jungler Graves League of LegendsEver since Graves was reworked all the way back in 2015, he has been a mainstay of the jungle role. Graves has some qualities that make him an extremely safe and effective blind pick for junglers. He is also one of the few ranged junglers that can be blind-picked.

Graves is a ranged champion so there is no fear of being at a disadvantage if the enemy picks ranged champions. Graves can do heavy burst damage and is a constant threat to deal with for the enemy carries. Not to mention, he can outlast a lot of people thanks to the stacking defensive stats with “True Grit” usage.

Furthermore, Graves has exceptional jungle clearing speed as well as staying constantly healthy throughout the clear. Due to these features, it is very rare that Graves can be counter jungled or caught unawares by the enemy jungler.

To top it off, you can itemize in different ways according to your enemy champions. Lethality build is an effective burst damage build for Graves while you can go auto attack-based high DPS build to deal with tanks or bruisers.

Lee Sin

Best Blind Pick Jungler Lee Sin League of LegendsIt would not be wrong to think of Lee Sin as the most iconic jungle champion the game of League of Legends has seen. Lee Sin has been a fundamental part of the jungle role ever since the champion was released. In any list of junglers, there is a very high chance that Lee Sin will be mentioned.

There are many reasons that make Lee Sin such an effective jungler, not the least of which is the lack of bad matchups. Lee does not have any so-called losing matchups in the jungle role where he does not get any counterplay. In fact, in a lot of the matchups that you can get Lee is the favored champion in a one-on-one situation.

Lee Sin is also one of the most active and impactful early-game junglers. High damage as well as high mobility in the early game with abilities such as “Safe Guard” and “Sonic Wave” make sure he can clear camps and move around the map relatively quickly. His Ultimate ability only adds even more burst damage and outplay potential to his kit.

Last but not least, Lee Sin has the ability to change the state of the game by finding a good Ultimate onto the enemy carry to reposition them in a place where your team can kill them. This is one of the few tactics in League of Legends to have its own separate name and as such worth mentioning i.e ‘Insec’. If you can manage to pull this off at the right time, you will most likely win the game.

Nunu and Willump

Best Blind Pick Jungler Nunu and Willump League of LegendsNunu as he is commonly called is an underrated jungle champion especially when you have to blind pick. The champion has no clear weaknesses or counter picks as far as the jungle role is concerned.

Nunu has a really fast early clear all the while making sure he is at a healthy health percentage thanks to his Consume ability. Nunu’s “Biggest Snowball Ever” ability also makes it easy for him to get across the map and help his teammates quickly. Furthermore, in the early game, the high damage and crowd control duration of the ability generally results in an easy kill if it lands.

Although Nunu’s early game ganks and damage is really nice, his specialty lies in objective control. Nunu is perhaps the best champion at securing objectives like Dragon and Baron thanks to the 2K HP execute he gets on monsters with the combination of Smite and ‘Consume’.

Moreover, Nunu has exceptional team fighting thanks to his zone control Ultimate. Nunu’s Ultimate as well as his other abilities can be used to make space and peel for your carries in team fights. Overall, Nunu is a pretty well-rounded champion with an easy-to-execute play style.

Ekko

Best Blind Pick Jungler Ekko League of LegendsEkko is our pick of the lot blind pick champion when you need to pick an ability power-focused jungler. Ekko has multiple things going in his favor that puts him above the rest in the ability power jungler category.

Ekko is such an effective blind pick because he is a ‘flex pick’; a pick that can be played in more than one lane. You can pick Ekko to confuse and misdirect the enemy team. Until your team has picked their mid-laner, the enemy team can not be certain where the Ekko is going.

Ekko is also an extremely potent threat to any backline champions that the opponent picks. Other AP jungle champions such as Fiddlesticks can find it hard to get to the enemy backline, Ekko faces no such issue and has reliable backline access with gap close abilities.

Ekko’s impressive early game damage and zone control with his “Convergence” ability makes for easy early game skirmishes. These factors combined with the fact that Ekko can be used to team fight effectively, make him an ideal blind pick when you need AP damage from the jungle role.

Final Thoughts

As discussed above, the jungle role can impact all the other lanes of the game. Junglers can help their team get to a better position than they would have been if left to their own devices.

If a jungler is able to dominate and limit the play of the other jungler, it means he can impact other lanes with little to no competition from his counterpart. Thus, the jungler can decide way more than just his individual matchup if he is able to dominate the enemy jungler.

Having said that, it is clear you need to have reliable blind pick options if you are a jungle player. The champions mentioned above are time-tested blind picks with no certain losing matchups. Moreover, all of the champions are able to cover a different playstyle for different players.

If you play Jungle, you know about the massive pool of champions that can fit themselves into this role. Each of them prefers different runes and performs different jobs. Yet, some runes are generally good on most jungle champions.

The best runes for Junglers include Fleet Footwork, Predator, Zombie Ward, Relentless Hunter, Nimbus Cloak, Waterwalking, Cosmic Insight, Celerity, Legend: Alacrity, Future’s Market, Conditioning, Hexflash, Ghost Poro, and Absolute Focus.

These runes provide general value independent of what champion you are playing. This means that these can be taken on most champions and you will gain value as long as you play the role properly. Let’s take a look at the runes that are best suited for junglers.

Best Keystones For Junglers

Fleet Footwork

Fleet Footwork is a very common rune among junglers that struggle with their health when clearing the jungle. While most other Keystones don’t provide any benefit in a PvE environment, Fleet is different. You can occasionally receive a small heal when you auto-attack a jungle monster, this allows you to maintain your HP to a reasonable level in case you get invaded or have to fight in the river.

Fleet also allows you to kite better and minimize downtime between two camps while moving across the map by providing you with movement speed. The key is to keep moving to build up stacks while kiting a camp. Graves is a good example when it comes to junglers that can utilize Fleet Footwork well.

Predator

This is the only other Keystone on the list after Fleet Footwork. Predator has been THE ganking rune for the longest time. If you are playing an off-meta jungler, this rune will also help you pull off ganks. With predator, you can base after your first clear and get boots as this will allow you to use the rune.

You can activate predator before showing up to a lane for a gank and the movement speed will allow you to catch up to most opponents. Some examples of junglers that take Predator are Skarner, Singed, and Morgana.

The Best Runes For Junglers In League Of Legends PredatorBest Runes For Junglers

Legend: Alacrity

Legend: Alacrity provides you increased Attack Speed as you continue stacking it until you hit 10 stacks for a total of 18% Bonus Attack Speed. You can simply stack it by killing jungle monsters, epic monsters (Like Rift Herald and Dragons) provide even more progress.

Attack Speed is really helpful when it comes to clearing the jungle as fast as possible. Jungling is a race and any stat that allows you to clear faster than your opponent will win you the race. Most champions that take Precision primary tree prefer to take this rune in the jungle.

Zombie Ward

Junglers can easily run all around the map and clear wards using Oracle Lens. Zombie ward allows you to benefit from the wards placed by your enemies by claiming them for yourself. Of course, with the added Adaptive Power that you gain from it, it becomes the best rune in the row for a jungler or support.

With Umbral Glaive in such a good state currently, taking Zombie Ward becomes even more rewarding. All it takes is one auto-attack from you (or two if it is a control ward) to clear it and gain some vision for yourself. Most junglers that go for Domination tree primary or secondary can opt into this rune.

Ghost Poro

While not as popular as Zombie Ward, Ghost Poro still offers a lot of value when it comes to warding as a jungler. Ghost Poro grants you vision of an area even after the ward itself expires until an enemy shows up on it. Early game, you want to put your wards where enemies will easily be able to walk over ghost poro to stack it faster.

Relentless Hunter

It is another great rune when your role relies on moving around the map and ganking. Supports and Junglers love this rune because it belongs to the same tree as Predator. Relentless Hunter allows you to move around the map faster and get things done faster.

Relentless Hunter is taken by junglers that need to gank a lot or simply have very low movement speed. This rune requires to be stacked by allows you to make plays all over the map.

The Best Runes For Junglers In League Of Legends Relentless HunterNimbus Cloak

Nimbus Cloak has been greatly nerfed ever since it was originally changed, but it is still one of the best runes for junglers. Nimbus Cloak provides you with a burst of movement speed whenever a summoner spell is used.

The idea is to smite the enemy champion while ganking to close the gap easily. You can also smite a lane minion or a monster to gain movement speed. If you are taking Sorcery tree secondary, you will definitely require this rune.

Celerity

Another one of those movement speed runes, but don’t worry, it’s the last one on the list. Celerity is a good rune to take if your champion relies on movement speed. It synergizes well with Nimbus Cloak, Ghost, Predator, Relentless Hunter, and even abilities that provide movement speed.

Absolute Focus

This rune provides you AD or AP based on the percentage of health you currently have. In the jungle, you are usually not at the risk of fighting a champion. Your health pool is not at risk of being depleted through poke and trading as it is in lanes. Having smite also allows you to retain a large portion of your health bar. This bonus AD/AP can help you clear faster and even retain this damage when ganking if you don’t get chunked.

Waterwalking

If there is any game in the rune that is made with junglers in mind, it is this rune. Waterwalking provides you movement speed and AD/AP, both of which are stats that a jungler loves. Keep in mind this bonus is only available while you are in the river. This makes early contests for scuttle crab much easier and also allows you to skirmish better.

Conditioning

Resolve is a popular tree among laners for its defensive runes that help you lane better. Second Wind or Boneplating allow you to survive the lane, but what if you don’t need either of those? Being a jungler grants you the freedom to take Conditioning, a scaling rune that provides Armor and Magic Resist.

Not having to lane in a PvP environment allows you to take scaling runes that allow you to get stronger while you clear jungle camps and wait to hit certain item breakpoints. This is a good rune for tank or bruiser junglers who need to be the frontline for their team.

Hexflash

Another rune loved by both Supports and Junglers. Hexflash allows you to cross walls and obstacles that you otherwise would not be able to cross. Some junglers don’t have the restriction of crossing over walls but for others, this rune provides a great way of ganking and even stealing objectives. Combined with Nimbus Cloak, Hexflash gives you a sudden gap closer against enemies that might not expect it.

Future’s Market

Jungling is all about efficiency. As you get to high elo, every second of your clear is crucial. Future’s Market allows you to hit item breakpoints much earlier and get you a headstart at a very small cost. Getting your mythic item or boots a minute earlier than the enemy jungler can be the deciding factor in a fight.

It is also helpful when you have to recall with a poor gold sum, or you end up getting killed before getting enough gold for an item. This rune covers most scenarios where you are lacking just a little gold to finish an important item.

Cosmic Insight

And the final rune on the list is Cosmic Insight. This rune gives you reduced summoner spell cooldown and item cooldown. Both of these stats are very important for junglers as they rely on these for ganks. A lower cooldown on your smite allows you to finish your jungle item much faster and get access to chilling or challenging smite.

The item cooldown can allow you to use items like Predator Boots, Zhonyas, and various other items more frequently during ganks. Overall, it is a good rune for junglers that need to quickly clear and start ganking as soon as possible.

General Rune Pages

The rune page you take depends a lot on what champion you are playing and what team composition you will be facing. However, there are certain rune pages that you can take if you are confused about your choice and would like runes that you can’t go wrong with.

The Jungle role has a vast variety of runes that can be taken depending on the champion you are playing. Some of those runes assist your clear speed, while some allow you to navigate the map faster. Choose your runes wisely based on the champions you will be facing and what is required by your champion to perform its job properly.
