Play-In Phase: Who’s Taking Center Stage?
The Play-In Phase will showcase eight teams. Both PCS and VCT are sending in two teams, names yet to be revealed. From the LJL, Team Detonation FocusMe has got the ticket, while CBLoL and LLA are still holding their breaths. And let’s not forget the sizzling face-off from the Worlds Qualifying Series: Golden Guardians versus the 4th seed from LEC.

Swiss Stage: The Main Event
For this phase, 14 teams have already locked in their spots. From LPL, JD Gaming, BiliBili Gaming, LNG Esports, and Weibo Gaming are the chosen ones. As for LCK, Gen.G and T1 are leading the pack, with the other slots yet to be nailed down. LEC’s got a nice slice too, but apart from MAD Lions / G2 Esports (rocking the lowest possible seed), it’s a bit of a mystery. From LCS, NRG, Cloud9, and Team Liquid are the talk of the town.

JD Gaming: First in Line
Snagging the first spot for the 2023 League of Legends World Championship this year is none other than JD Gaming, having bulldozed their way both domestically and on the international stage.
